Bees defender unsure of return

Barnet defender Daniel Leach is edging closer to fitness but refuses to put a timescale on his return to action.

The Australian centre-half had made an impressive start to his Bees career until he suffered a fractured foot which has sidelined him since September. Leach hopes to be jogging within a fortnight, but he said: "It's hard to say when I'll be back competitively. "The bone is still essentially not healed, it's got a millimetre left to heal. Hopefully it should be done in the next couple of weeks. "I'm going to have my last scan soon. I've got good natural fitness anyway, so in terms of getting fit again I don't think it's going to take that long."
