Defensive hope for Hatters

Stockport manager Ray Mathias could be boosted by the return of Mansour Assoumani and Alan Goodall at the weekend.

The defensive pair have been nursing injuries, but County are hopeful they will be available to face Aldershot on Saturday. However, Danny Swailes is nursing a hamstring strain as he works his way back from a long-term injury and fellow defender Danny O'Donnell also remains a long-term absentee. County are rock-bottom of League Two and lie four points from safety with only nine matches remaining.
