Carroll buzzes off from Bees

Roy Carroll is no longer training with League Two side Barnet following the arrival of Lawrie Sanchez.

Ex-Manchester United and West Ham goalkeeper Carroll, who has been looking for a new club for some time, was training and helping out with some coaching at Underhill. But upon hearing of the appointment of his former Northern Ireland boss Sanchez in a consultancy role to help caretaker manager Giuliano Grazioli, the 33-year-old left the club earlier this week. Sanchez will pick the team alongside Grazioli for the first time when they travel to Gillingham this weekend.
