Potter leaves Gulls nest

Out-of-contract Torquay goalkeeper Danny Potter has left Plainmoor to join Conference outfit Newport County.
The 32-year-old joined Torquay from Cambridge in 2010 but failed to win a regular place from first choice Scott Bevan. Potter made nine league appearances this season, before Bevan was recalled, as the Gulls pushed for promotion.
