Brown upbeat as Djilali signs

AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown believes he has snapped up a "diamond" in Kieran Djilali.

The former Crystal Palace winger made his Dons debut as they secured a first-ever home win in the Football League against Port Vale last weekend. Djilali will be in the squad which heads to Aldershot on Saturday, and Brown feels there will more to come from the 20-year-old once he gets match fit. "Kieran's a diamond acquisition and will be brilliant for us, especially when we're playing our football and playing well," he said. "He's not match fit yet, he could do with a couple more games under his belt. But he's got unbelievable quality on the ball."
