Torquay manager Martin Ling has lauded the development of former Everton youth player Eunan O'Kane after the weekend's game.
O'Kane, 21, played a prominent role in the Gulls' 3-3 draw with Rotherham at Plainmoor on Saturday, and afterwards Ling was gushing with his praise for the midfielder. "Eunan reminds me of myself as a player," said the Torquay boss. "Some players tackle with their faces if they have to, and people go on about bravery in that way, which can be right, of course. But it's just as brave to keep trying to play and pass the ball when things may not be going right. "Eunan has got a lot of responsibility, because he is the heart of our passing game, but I think he handles it well. "He will never shy away from wanting the ball, even after he's made a mistake."
