Silkmen to contest Draper red

Macclesfield will appeal against Ross Draper's dismissal in the 2-1 defeat at Barnet on Friday night.

Draper saw red for a challenge on Michael Hector at Underhill but, having reviewed video evidence, the Silkmen have notified the Football Association of their intent to appeal. Should the attempt to have the red card rescinded fail, Draper will be banned for three matches.
