U's exit on cards for James

Defender Ryan James is set to leave Oxford United after the culmination of his six-month stint at the Kassam Stadium.
James joined the U's from the Nike Academy in May last year but has struggled to force his way into manager Chris Wilder's first-team plans because of a nagging ankle injury that has kept him out of action for more than three months. The 22-year-old said he was grateful to Oxford for giving him a chance, and he hopes to find work off the back of his stint with the League Two club. He told the U's official website: "I think I have got loads out of the experience. I have really enjoyed my time and have learnt lots from those around me. "It has been a great club to be at. I have gained some useful knowledge and experience while I have been here and want to use this as a foundation to take into the rest of my career. "I'm now looking to move on, find a new club and get some games under my belt. I want to move onwards and upwards and my time with Oxford has given me a great platform."
