Purkiss makes Bulls move

Defender Ben Purkiss has joined Hereford following his release from Oxford, where he has fallen out of contention this season.

The 27-year-old right-back has struggled to force his way into manager Chris Wilder's first-team plans and did not feature for the U's this season. Purkiss, who spent three months on loan at Darlington at the beginning of the campaign, has joined the Bulls on a deal which runs until the end of this term.
