Bentley hails brilliant Barry

Jim Bentley praised goalkeeper Barry Roche for a last-ditch save which helped secure Morecambe a point in a 1-1 derby draw at Accrington.
Roche superbly denied Stanley substitute Will Hatfield from close range in the final minute of the clash at the Crown Ground. "Barry kept us in it," Bentley said. "But for him at the end they could have won, a point is a fair result. "In the first half we made mistakes and chose the wrong options and they broke at pace and caught us out a few times. They scored and they could have been out of sight by half-time if it hadn't been for Barry." "At the break we addressed a few things and did more pressing in the second half and felt we deserved our goal. It was end-to-end and must have been an entertaining derby for the fans to watch - not quite in the dugout though! "A point, though, does neither side any good in the play-offs as there are a lot of teams up there. It's maybe too far for us but we have got 51 points - the same as we got last season - with eight games to go so I have got to praise the lads."
