Hess: Gills can't slip up again

Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler insists his team cannot afford to lose again this term following their 1-0 home reverse to Crawley.
Dannie Bulman's calm second-half finish proved the difference between the two sides in Tuesday night's League Two clash at Priestfield, while Gills striker Danny Kedwell had a late header cleared off the line. "We never got out of the blocks and we are disappointed but we lose with dignity because we take it on the chin at this football club and say they were the better team," Hessenthaler said. "We knew we were lucky to get into half-time at 0-0 and were still in the game. We needed to find a bit more but we couldn't do it. "There's a 10-team league here and if I'm honest I don't think we can really lose another game because we need to finish top of that mini league, but we can definitely do it. "We just have to keep plugging away and maybe the games just caught up with the guys, especially some of the younger ones, so perhaps I just need to freshen it up."
