Crawley v AFC Wimbledon preview

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Crawley Town and AFC Wimbledon at the Broadfield Stadium.

Sergio Torres is the latest Crawley player to be suspended ahead of the visit of the Dons. Winger Torres starts a three-match ban after he was sent off towards the end of Monday's 2-1 win at Barnet. He joins defenders Pablo Mills, Claude Davis and Kyle McFadzean on the sidelines with all three still banned for their part in the brawl at Bradford a fortnight ago. Mills has served his original three-match suspension but was this week banned for another three games after being found guilty of violent conduct. Davis completes a four-match ban for his part in the incident and McFadzean serves the final game of the three-match suspension he received retrospectively. Right-back David Hunt is still recovering from a broken foot, but fellow defender Charlie Wassmer and striker John Akinde have been recalled from their loan spells at Dagenham as cover. Meanwhile, Brett Johnson is fit but Billy Knott is struggling for AFC Wimbledon. Johnson missed Monday's 2-0 defeat at Southend after suffering an injury to his gluteus maximus, but the defender has now resumed training. His return is a major boost to manager Terry Brown with Callum McNaughton out for the season after a knee operation and fellow centre-half Pim Balkestein having returned to Brentford at the end of his loan deal. Johnson could replace former captain Jamie Stuart, who was recalled at Roots Hall after a month out of the picture. On-loan Sunderland midfielder Knott is considered a major doubt, however, after suffering a hamstring injury on Monday. Rashid Yussuff came on for Knott and could now be in the starting line-up.
