Macclesfield have confirmed the exit of assistant manager Glyn Chamberlain following the club's relegation from League Two.
Chamberlain took charge of the Silkmen's final game of the season at Southend after Brian Horton's departure in the wake of their defeat to Hereford and subsequent relegation from League Two the previous weekend. Horton replaced Gary Simpson, who Chamberlain also assisted for over two years at the Moss Rose, as Macc manager in March. "Glyn has been a great asset for the club during his time with us," Macclesfield chairman Mike Rance told the club's official website. "He is a real expert on the game and leaves the Moss Rose with the best wishes of everyone here."
