Twaddle agrees Dale release

Rochdale have cancelled midfielder Marc Twaddle's contract by mutual agreement.
Former Rangers youngster Twaddle joined Dale from Falkirk last summer, but injuries restricted him to three appearances in all competitions. The 25-year-old's only start for John Coleman's side came in April's 3-2 win over Exeter, although the hosts were 2-0 down when he was replaced by Joe Thompson after 65 minutes. Thompson went on to net the equaliser. A statement on Rochdale's official website read: "Following discussions between Marc Twaddle, John Coleman and Jimmy Bell, a mutual agreement has (been) reached to cancel the players' contract with the club. "We would like to thank Marc for his services and we send him our very best wishes for the future."
