AFC Wimbledon have completed a six-month loan deal for Reading centre-back Angus MacDonald.
MacDonald arrives at Kingsmeadow after impressing during the club's pre-season preparations. The 19-year old is yet to make his Reading debut but after loan spells at Basingstoke and Torquay, Dons' manager Terry Brown was pleased to have boosted his defensive options. MacDonald will now challenge Mat Mitchel-King and Pim Balkestein for a starting place in the Dons' next warm-up game against Preston. Brown told the club's official website: ""We have been looking to get another centre-half in on loan until Callum McNaughton is back and fit to play. Brown added: "Angus is a very talented, young centre-back from Reading and I think he will be a really good addition for us."
