Brewers too good - Coleman

Rochdale boss John Coleman thought Burton were good value for their 1-0 win at Spotland on Saturday afternoon.

Striker Matt Paterson staked his claim to a regular spot in the Brewers' starting line-up with a stunning second-half strike to clinch three points for the visitors. "The best team won, it was a fair result, they know how we play and Burton have done a job on us and fair play to them," said Coleman. "But we have got to be better than that - we were poor. "The fans deserve better than that when they are paying their hard-earned money and the lack of quality was evident. "Physically, I didn't feel we competed well enough with them and at times we were a soft touch, not something you would associate with my teams."
