Collis makes Dale move

Rochdale have completed the signing of goalkeeper Steve Collis after Ben Smith left the club in search of first-team football.
Collis, who counts Yeovil, Southend, Crewe and Macclesfield among his former clubs, most recently featured for Buxton in the Evo Stik League Premier Division. The 31-year-old joins Dale on non-contract terms subject to FA and Football League approval. Smith moved to Spotland on a similar agreement in the summer, making a solitary appearance against local rivals Bury in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
