Hartlepool have reached agreement with Middlesbrough to extend midfielder Matty Dolan's loan spell for another month.
The 20-year-old Boro academy product has been a regular for Pools, scoring once in 10 appearances since first arriving at the club in late August. "We've talked to Middlesbrough and we're thankful to them for helping us extend the loan," Pools boss Colin Cooper told the club's official website. "Matty was a player I was always interested in bringing to Victoria Park and we're delighted that he's going to be staying with us for at least another month." Hartlepool-born Dolan is expected to be in the starting line-up at Scunthorpe on Saturday as Pools bid for a sixth straight win in all competitions.
