Wycombe v Oxford Utd preview

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Wycombe and Oxford Utd at Adams Park.

Wycombe striker Dean Morgan could return to action against former club Oxford at Adams Park. The 30-year-old has been sidelined with a hamstring injury he picked up on Boxing Day and is touch and go to face the U's, with boss Gareth Ainsworth revealing he will monitor Morgan in the build up to kick-off. And Ainsworth has no fresh injury worries but will have to find a replacement for Sunderland midfielder Billy Knott who returned to his parent club earlier this week. Jon-Paul Pittman (knee) is making good progress but remains sidelined for another two weeks while left-back Charles Dunne (fractured tibia) is a longer-term absentee. Oxford will be boosted by the return of Nicky Wroe when they make the short trip to Wycombe. The U's earned an FA Cup third-round replay with Charlton on Tuesday night without their cup-tied Preston midfielder but Wroe is likely to feature against the Chairboys. Experienced striker Dave Kitson started on the bench at The Valley having not played for three weeks due to suspension and he is pushing for a start at Adams Park. Scott Davies will hope to keep his place after scoring on his first start for the U's since back in September as they earned a midweek draw.
