Cameron Gayle is ready to kick-start his career after signing a permanent deal with Shrewsbury.
The former West Brom defender failed to get a look-in at the Baggies since coming through their academy system and has had two separate loan spells at Greenhous Meadow in the last two seasons. After signing a two-year deal with Micky Mellon's side, he is now ready to push on as they look to make an instant return to League One. The 21-year-old told the club's website: "This time it's permanent and I'm just happy to be here. "It's a great place to start playing and it is basically the start of my career now. "Shrewsbury are a great club with great fans here and hopefully we can help one another progress. "I know most of the players and staff so I can't wait to get started now."
