Accrington have signed Anthony Barry on loan from Vanarama Conference side Forest Green.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who started his senior career at Stanley, has signed on a 93-day deal after playing in Tuesday night's Lancashire Senior Cup defeat to Manchester United. "We haven't got a great deal of cover in midfield and that's an area that we've highlighted for strengthening," said manager John Coleman. "He'll be a very good addition to our squad. He's a better player since the last time he was here, and you know exactly what you are going to get out of him. "He's got a great attitude to the game which is good to see." Barry made 25 appearances for Stanley during the 2005/06 season before moving to Yeovil. He has since appeared for Chester and Fleetwood before joining Forest Green in 2013.
