Coleman 'fed up' with criticism

John Coleman admits he is getting "pretty fed up" with criticism from sections of Accrington's support.
The Stanley manager exchanged words with members of the Store First Stadium crowd following last Friday's 2-0 loss to Newport, which extended his side's winless run to seven games. The hosts were playing well until an own goal from goalkeeper Scott Davies gave the Exiles the platform to record an away win with a pair of second-half strikes. It is not the first time this season that Coleman has hit back at dissenting voices in the stands and he concedes he is fighting a losing battle when it comes to trying to win them over. "If you put a door on and something goes wrong with the heating and you get the blame, you'd soon get pretty fed up," said Coleman. "I didn't throw that ball in the net and yet it's my fault. I've got to take the blame because I'm the manager and I'm the one who has to be the focal point. "But they weren't telling me how well we were playing in the first half; it wasn't my fault then. It was probably that they're playing well in spite of me. "If people don't like me, they don't like me. I had this at Rochdale and no matter what you do, you can't please some people so you've just got to get on with your job. "I know I'm a good manager and I know what I'm doing. I know for a fact I know a lot more than all these people that are shouting at me in the stands. "They pay their money and they are entitled to their opinion, it doesn't mean it's better than mine - it wouldn't be better than mine because they're not qualified enough."
