Douglas: All at Swindon to blame

Jonathan Douglas feels the players and board are responsible for Swindon's position but is adamant they will keep fighting.
The Wiltshire club's hopes of avoiding relegation to League Two are now remote after Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers Notts County left them six points adrift of safety with just nine left to play for. It is all very different from last May when the Robins lost 1-0 to Millwall in the League One play-off final at Wembley. The loss of influential centre-back Gordon Greer and key forward Billy Paynter last summer, followed by the January departure of star striker Charlie Austin, has played a huge part in their downfall. Douglas said: "Some players haven't been replaced from last season but we just must keep going. With three games left we have to keep going and keep believing. There are nine points available and we are capable of getting them. "We are not going home delighted with our performance and we have to learn from our mistakes and make sure it doesn't happen again. But we've all made mistakes, players and board."
