Robbo purrs over Dons' best yet

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson described his side's 4-1 win at Bury in League One as their "most complete performance of the season".

Dean Bowditch scored a hat-trick and Luke Chadwick added another in a miserable final game in charge for Bury caretaker-boss Peter Shirtliff on Saturday. Robinson said: "It was our most complete performance this season. People obviously point fingers at Bury and where they are in the league, but they have had a result at Bramall Lane this year, which is difficult. "We knew the enormity of the task ahead of us and the players did well. They had a magnificent first half, especially the way they moved the ball with so much confidence and flair. "We took our chances. That's been us all season but with no goals or just the one. We took a winning position, got the lead and went from strength to strength. "It was a hard decision whether to play Daniel Powell or Dean Bowditch and Bowds has repaid us. He's a good footballer, but Jay O'Shea also did well and I thought Luke Chadwick was excellent. All the goals were very good and we defended well, although I'm disappointed with the goal."
