Marsden leaves Shrewsbury

Striker John Marsden has parted company with Sky Bet League One side Shrewsbury.
The 21-year-old, who joined the club in the summer, struggled with injury during his time at the Greenhous Meadow and made just five appearances. The club have revealed that Marsden's contract had a break clause in it, where both the club and the player could review the agreement and terminate it if they so wish.
