Braintree too strong for Wycombe

A goal from Gareth Ainsworth could not prevent Wycombe slipping to a 2-1 friendly defeat at non-league Braintree Town.
Wanderers found themselves a goal down thanks to a Ben Wright strike when captain Ainsworth tucked in an equaliser from close range. But another smart finish from Wright condemned Gary Waddock's men to defeat against the Essex side managed by former West Ham legend Alan Devonshire.
