Wycombe have announced the signing of versatile midfielder Peter Murphy on a two-year contract.
Murphy, 24, equally comfortable in midfield or defence, will officially join Wanderers on July 1 from Accrington when his contract expires. Wycombe's assistant manager Richard Dobson told the club's official website: "We've kept a close eye on Peter's progress and seen him develop as a player over the years, so we know he fits the character and work ethic that we want at the club. "He's a utility player who has shown he's capable of scoring goals from midfield, so we're really looking forward to welcoming him to Wycombe Wanderers." Murphy, who struck a last-minute equaliser for Accrington against Wycombe in November, scored nine goals in 47 appearances for last season.
