Morgan Schneiderlin has set himself some high targets - playing in the Premier League with Southampton and breaking into the France squad.
The 21-year-old midfielder on Friday put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Saints, who lead the way in the Championship after four straight wins. "I knew for a long time I wanted to stay here, there was a lot of talking between me and the club and I was happy to see everybody wants us to move forward," he said. "We want to play in the Premier League. That's personally my target as well, and I think we all have a great future which I want to be part of. "Nothing has changed internationally, but I'm still only 21 and I still have time to get into the French squad by playing in the top flight. "I'm aiming for the next three to four years, and by then I hope Southampton will be in the Premier League."
