John Still waiting for win

Dagenham boss John Still was left frustrated after his side threw away a welcome lead as Accrington escaped with a 1-1 draw.

Peter Murphy's 85th minute finish salvaged a point just as it looked like the hosts were going to take all three at the London Borough of Barking Stadium. Midfielder Luke Howell's 61st minute strike put Dagenham on course to end a miserable start to the season. But Murphy's late goal means John Still's misfiring side are without a win in six while Accrington claimed a second successive draw to continue their solid start to the new campaign. "It was a good goal for us and we could have gone 2-0 up, so it was a shame to let one in so late," Still said. "Accrington have started the season well and we knew it was going to be a tough test, but I thought we played well. "We had some good chances and should have probably been in front before we scored, but unfortunately we didn't make those opportunities count. "It's frustrating because their goal could have been avoided. It would have been nice to get all three points, but at least we've not come away from the game with nothing."
