Tisdale scratching his head

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale admits his side are still looking for the right formula after they went down 2-0 at Hartlepool.

City, who have just one win to their name so far this season, were beaten by goals at either end of the match from Gary Liddle and Nathan Luscombe. "It's disappointing to give a goal away so early," said Tisdale. "We picked up in the second half. It was a calmer affair and we had more possession without using it efficiently. "It's symptomatic of the team and the effort's there, the commitment's there, but we have lost a bit of confidence and style. "We have to look at that and we are not as efficient as we can be right now."
