League Two outfit Aldershot have added defender Chris Doig to their squad on a month-by-month non-contract basis.
The 30-year-old centre-back has made over 200 league appearances having represented Nottingham Forest in the Premier League and being named captain at Northampton. Doig returns to play football in this country after leaving the Cobblers for Australia and then playing in Indonesia.
