Burton v Chesterfield preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's FA Cup second-round clash between Burton Albion and Chesterfield at the Pirelli Stadium.
Ryan Austin is a doubt for Burton ahead of the visit of Chesterfield. The defender was forced off with an ankle injury early in the second half of the home league defeat to Aldershot in midweek. He will continue to be assessed but Andy Corbett, Austin's replacement on Tuesday night, and Tony James are on standby. Midfielder Russell Penn is nursing a thigh strain and he will also face a late check. Burton became the first side to inflict a home league defeat on Chesterfield just two weeks ago but the Brewers have lost back-to-back home games since. Aaron Webster's 85th-minute effort earned Burton a 1-0 win over Oxford in the previous round. Chesterfield have defensive problems ahead of the clash as Dwayne Mattis, Ian Breckin and Jack Hunt have a virus. Mattis and Breckin missed the home league defeat to Oxford in midweek but Hunt played. Kelvin Lomax came through a late fitness test to play on Tuesday night but suffered an ankle injury towards the end of the game and a late decision will be made on his fitness. With Scott Griffiths back at Peterborough and Aaron Downes still a way off fitness following a long-term knee injury, boss John Sheridan has a threadbare backline. Midfielder Derek Niven will complete a three-match suspension following his controversial sending-off in the league meeting between the two sides a fortnight ago but Craig Clay and Tendayi Darikwa are available again after their loan spells at Barrow.
