Potter aims to score more

Alfie Potter hopes his first goal since early September in the 1-1 draw at Burton will be the "first of many" this season.

Midfielder Potter, whose only other strike this term came against the same opponents in the 2-2 stalemate at the Kassam Stadium on September 10, ensured a share of the spoils for the U's with a second-half strike at the Pirelli Stadium and then set his sights on scoring more. "It's been coming for a while. I've been missing chances and I could have had a couple," he told BBC Radio Oxford. "But I'm glad to get one and hopefully it's the first of many. "You've got to do a job wherever the manager puts you but it is a nice position to play, just picking up the ball between defence and midfield and running at them. "I've just got to try and make things happen."
