Doncaster v Brighton preview

Doncaster striker Mark McCammon should start against old club Brighton, who could be unchanged.

Doncaster Rovers striker Mark McCammon should start against old club Brighton & Hove Albion, who could be unchanged. McCammon has struggled with injuries this season, but proved his current wellbeing with a goal in last week's FA Cup replay defeat to Oldham last week. He is expected to partner James Hayter up front, with fellow striker Paul Heffernan a long-term absentee after damaging ankle ligaments at Port Vale. Gareth Roberts remains sidelined after a recent operation to resolve a double hernia problem and fellow defender Graeme Lee (knee) is not yet ready to return. But manager Sean O'Driscoll has no new injury or suspension problems as his side, unbeaten in their last eight league matches, look to make up further ground on the leading pack.

Brighton news

Dean Wilkins takes his team to the Keepmoat Stadium on a nine-match unbeaten run and he could resist the temptation to make changes. Midfielder George O'Callaghan serves the second match of his three-game suspension, so Tommy Fraser will hope to start again. Tommy Elphick is continuing his recovery from hernia surgery, so Joel Lynch and Adam El-Abd should keep their places in the centre of defence. Nicky Forster hit his fifth brace of the season at Torquay in the FA Cup on Saturday and is expected to be partnered by Bas Savage once more, with fit-again Alex Revell (hernia) on the bench. Defender Adam Hinshelwood, who has not started a game in nearly a year due to cruciate ligament damage, has this week returned to full training.
