Accrington v Chesterfield preview

Accrington could receive a double boost for the visit of Chesterfield, who are hoping to call on Jack Lester.

Both sides hope to have key strikers back

Accrington Stanley could receive a double boost for the visit of Chesterfield, who are hoping to call on Jack Lester. Roscoe D'Sane and Paul Mullin could both be available for the game, which would boost Stanley's goal threat. The strike duo, who have 14 goals between them this season, missed last week's heavy defeat at Milton Keynes Dons through injury. But Coleman is hoping both will be back in contention against the high-flying Spireites. Skipper Peter Cavanagh is still on the sidelines after recently undergoing a hernia operation, while goalkeeper Kenny Arthur is recovering from a broken leg.

Chesterfield news

Spireites manager Lee Richardson is hoping to welcome back top scorer Lester for the League Two fixture. Lester has not featured in the last two league games with an ankle injury, but he has resumed training this week. Defender Janos Kovacs will serve a one-match ban after he collected his fifth yellow card of the season against Bradford. His absence could be offset by the return of Aaron Downes, who has recovered from a virus he contracted while on international duty with the Australia Under 23 side. However, a virus will rule utility man Gareth Davies out of the squad.
