Barnet v Dagenham preview

Image: Fairclough: Defensive worries

Barnet have a defensive dilemma when Dagenham bring an unchanged squad to Underhill.

Defender banned for Bees, Daggers unchanged

Barnet have a defensive dilemma when Dagenham & Redbridge bring an unchanged squad to Underhill. Joe O'Ceaurill misses out for Barnet to leave manager Paul Fairclough with a selection headache. O'Ceaurill was sent off in the 4-1 defeat at Lincoln and must now serve a one-match suspension. Sagi Burton remains on the sidelines with a knee ligament injury, leaving Fairclough hard pressed to find a partner for captain Ismail Yakubu, with Nicky Nicolau the obvious option. It will be a straight choice between Liam Hatch and Giuliano Grazioli to partner Adam Birchall in attack.

Dagenham news

The visitors could stick with the team which drew 1-1 with Notts County, with manager John Still missing several players through injury. Full-back Danny Foster (thigh) made the bench on Saturday and could figure against Barnet. Fellow defender Scott Griffiths is still out with a back injury. In midfield, Richard Graham (hernia) and Dave Rainford (knee) are unlikely to return before the New Year, while Solomon Taiwo serves the second game of his four-match ban. Sam Saunders returned from a knee injury against County, though, and will hope to keep his place. Lee Goodwin and Ross Smith remain long-term absentees with knee problems.
