Financial terms were not disclosed but
The Green Bay Press-Gazette report that it is worth $5.4 million.
Chillar, 25, appeared in 15 games for the St Louis Rams last season, making 65 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
He is expected to compete with Brady Poppinga for a starting role with the Packers.
Meanwhile, the
Cincinnati Bengals have agreed new one-year contracts with linebackers Rashad Jeanty and Corey Mays and wide receiver Glenn Holt.
