Preston v Bristol City preview

Image: Paul Huntington: An injury concern

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Preston North End and Bristol City at Deepdale.

Paul Huntington is again Preston's sole injury concern as they welcome Bristol City to Deepdale for a top-of-the-table tussle. The defender has been struggling since receiving a whack on the back and head area against Fleetwood and although he started against Bradford, he had to be withdrawn at half-time when the problem resurfaced. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is fit enough to take his spot on the bench again following a minor hamstring injury but it is unlikely Simon Grayson strays far from the consistent XI which is unbeaten in 13 League One games. North End are five points clear of third-placed MK Dons and eight away from the Robins, whom they hold a game in hand over. Bristol City have no fresh injury worries as they look to take a giant step closer to the Championship. Steve Cotterill's side came through their 3-0 win over Swindon on Tuesday night unscathed but they remain without influential right wing-back Mark Little after he suffered a dislocated shoulder in last week's draw with Oldham. So that means Wigan loanee James Tavernier will continue in the side and Cotterill may decide to pick an unchanged XI. City could clinch promotion to the second tier if they see off North End and other results go their way.
