The Dingle mentor singled out for his role in the scuffle during the Kerry SFC semi-final on Sunday is set to be banned for eight weeks.
Brawls at club GAA games have been the talk of Ireland in recent weeks, with ugly scenes marring matches all over the country. The rows have been clamped down upon with varying degrees of severity, with Ballyholland and Downpatrick likely to be excluded from the Down championship in 2019.
The latest fight which caught national attention came in the Kerry SFC semi-final replay between Dingle and East Kerry in Austin Stack Park, Tralee last weekend. The game descended into a schemozzle at one point, with many left outraged with the actions of one Dingle mentor.
Kerry's CCC convened on Monday to discuss the referee's report, and it is believed that the Dingle official is set to be banned for eight weeks.
Dingle won the semi-final and progress to the decider where they will face reigning champions Dr Crokes.
