Kerry and Cavan picked up wins in Division 1, while Fermanagh upset Donegal in Letterkenny to continue their unbeaten start.
Galway 1-10 Kerry 0-14, Division 1
Kerry's perfect start under Peter Keane continued, as they overcame Galway in Tuam.
The Kingdom did much of the damage approaching half-time, scoring five points in succession to go in, 0-8 to 0-3 to the good at the break. Despite a fightback from the home side that included a Danny Cummins goal to give them the lead, Kerry were able to dig deep for the narrow victory.
With four wins from four, the Munster champions look like closing in on a league final berth.
Cavan 3-13 Roscommon 0-13, Division 1
The Breffni County picked up their first win of the National League, with a nine-point home victory over Roscommon. The meeting of the two promoted teams from last year offered Anthony Cunningham's team a golden opportunity to put real daylight between his side and the relegation zone. However, they were outgunned by Mickey Graham's charges, who puts the personal disappointment of Mullinalaghta's defeat behind him.
Two goals from Conor Madden and one strike from Martin Reilly proved the difference, as Cavan look ahead to their trip to Tyrone in Round Five.
Division 2
Fermanagh continued their winning start in the second tier, as they recorded a shock 0-13 to 0-10 win over Donegal in Letterkenny. Meanwhile, Armagh accounted for the 14 men of Tipperary, 1-15 to 0-12, as Kildare ran out six point winners at home to Clare, 1-16 to 0-13.
Division 3
Louth were the big winners of the day, as they recorded a comprehensive 5-16 to 0-16 win over Sligo to move to the top of the table. Westmeath edged Laois, 0-13 to 0-10 in the all-Leinster clash, while Offaly overcame Carlow, 0-15 to 1-9.
Goals proved crucial for Down, as Paddy Talty's side overcame Longford, 3-7 to 0-8 to continue their promotion charge.
Division 4
Derry maintained their 100 per cent record with a 2-8 to 0-9 win over Wicklow. Waterford leapfrogged Wexford in the table, after overcoming the Yellowbellies 5-4 to 0-12 while Antrim beat London, 1-13 to 1-8.
