Tipperary SHC
There were a host of shocks in Tipp, with both Drom & Inch and Loughmore Castleiney crashing out at the quarter-final stage at the hands of Toomevara and Nenagh Éire Óg respectively.
Thurles Sarsfields also looked set to be eliminated, but a late goal from Ronan Maher secured a narrow win over Kilruane MacDonaghs. Clonoulty Rossmore also progressed, after beating Kiladangan.
Cork SHC
The county final will be an all-East Cork affair, as Midleton and Imokilly won the semi-finals at Páirc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday.
Midleton saw off a brave fightback from Blackrock winning 3-11 to 2-16, while Imokilly's intercounty stars showed their class to see off a star-studded UCC side, 3-21 to 1-15.
Midleton will progress to the Munster Championship regardless of the result in the final, as Imokilly are a divisional side and cannot compete outside the county.
