We take stock of a hectic weekend of club hurling action around the country.
Dublin SHC
All four favourites progressed to the semi-finals over the weekend, with St Vincent's and Ballyboden set to face off in the last four after wins over Na Fianna and Ballinteer St John's respectively.
Buoyed the return of Dublin footballers Con O'Callaghan and Mark Schutte, along with reigning Club Hurler of the Year Seán Moran, Cuala had too much for Lucan Sarsfields as they won by 13 points. O'Callaghan marked his return with 1-03 from play.
Crokes powered past St Jude's, despite having to play the second half with 14 men. Speaking to KilmacudCrokes.com after the game, manager Anthony Daly described Jamie Clinton's red card as "ferociously harsh", suggesting it was a case of mistaken identity.
Kilkenny SHC
TJ Reid was on top form as Ballyhale Shamrocks stormed into the quarter-finals after beating St Patrick's Ballyragget. Henry Shefflin's side will face reigning champions Dicksboro in the quarter-finals.
The 2016 and 2015 winners O'Loughlin Gaels and Clara will also face off.
Waterford SHC
Ballygunner remain on course for a fifth consecutive county title, after hammering Passage 3-23 to 1-04 in the semi-final. They will face Abbeyside in the decider, who reached their first final in 10 years by beating De La Salle in a dramatic tie, winning out 0-14 to 0-13.
Clare SHC
There will be a fresh look to the Banner County's decider this year, as 2017 finalists Sixmilebridge and Clooney-Quin were eliminated at the hands of Cratloe and O'Callaghan's Mills this weekend.
2016/17 All-Ireland finalists Ballyea reached the semi-finals, with Kilmaley also progressing to the last four.
Limerick SHC
Last year's All-Ireland runners-up Na Piarsaigh sent out a statement with a 10-point win over Patrickswell, while Doon ensured second spot in the 'Super Six' to secure a semi-final berth after beating Kilmallock 0-17 to 0-10.
Patrickswell, Kilmallock, South Liberties and Murroe-Boher are the four teams in the quarter-finals.
Na Piarsaigh will be hot favourites to defend a county title for the first time following their comprehensive win.
Offaly SHC
Last year's beaten Leinster finalists Kilcormac-Killoughey are back in the decider after beating St Rynagh's. Coolderry will take on the reigning champions, after they progressed by Belmont.
Wexford SHC
St Martin's, Raparees, Oylegate-Glenbrien, Naomh Eanna are all through to the semi-finals. Last year's winners St Martin's cruised to a seven-point victory over St Aidan's, despite playing much of the game with 14 men.
