Ballyhale Shamrocks lead the way in Club Hurling Team of the Year

All-Ireland champions Ballyhale Shamrocks have six representatives on the AIB Club Hurling Team of the Year.

Joey Holden, Michael and Colin Fennelly, Adian Mullen, TJ Reid and Eoin Cody are all included, after the Kilkenny side recorded a 2-28 to 2-11 final win over St Thomas' at Croke Park. The Galway champions have just one representative on the team, Fintan Burke who suffered a cruciate injury during the decider.

Munster champions and beaten All-Ireland semi-finalists Ballygunner have five stars included. Stephen O'Keeffe, Ian Kenny, Philip and Pauric Mahony and Shane O'Sullivan have all been selected for the Waterford outfit.

Eoghan Cambell and Neil McManus of Ruairí Óg Cushendall make the cut, while Brian Carroll of Coolderry has been recognised for scoring 3-21 in two games against Mount Leinster Rangers and Ballyboden St Enda's.

Meanwhile, Colin Fennelly, Adrian Mullen and Pauric Mahony have all been nominated for the Player of the Year gong.
