Jin Cheng secured a spot at next year's Masters despite not hitting a ball in the final round of the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.

The fourth round at the Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club in Hong Kong was abandoned due to heavy rain and high winds.

Third-round leader Cheng, 17, carded 11 under par after 54 holes to edge Australian amateur champion Cameron Davis and his countryman Ryan Ruffels by one stroke.

As well as the Masters qualification, Cheng also has a place in the final round of qualifying for the 2016 Open Championship at Royal Troon.
