Highlights from the third round of the PIF Saudi Ladies International, the opening event of the Ladies European Tour season

Charley Hull put herself in title contention at the PIF Saudi Ladies International in Riyadh but there was disappointment for Mimi Rhodes who dropped from leader to 13th.

Hye-Jin Choi and Rio Takeda sit at the top of the leaderboard on 15-under-par with one round left.

Choi, who was a co-leader after the first round, produced a flawless round three to take a share of the lead with 18 holes remaining.

South Africa's Casandra Alexander sits in third place on 14-under-par after a round of 68 (-4) with seven players in a share of fourth place with Alison Lee, Shannon Tan, Carlota Ciganda, Ina Yoon and Japanese trio Akie Iwai, Chizzy Iwai and Nasa Hataoka all on 13-under-par.

Hull, chasing her first Ladies European Tour (LET) win since 2024, charged up the leaderboard and sits just behind on 12-under-par after a second successive round of 67.

Last year's LET Rookie of the Year, Mimi Rhodes, held a one-shot lead at the halfway stage, but the 24-year-old dropped down the leaderboard after dropping shots at the 5th, 13th and 15th for a round of 72.

However, Rhodes will aim to rediscover her form with the Taunton star just four shots off the lead heading into the final round.
