Jordan Spieth’s record-breaking year has already seen him collect two major titles and a host of other awards, but now his sponsors have come up with another way to highlight the 22-year-old’s achievements.
After a 2015 which has seen Spieth hold the world No 1 ranking, reach the winner's circle five times and earn more prize money in a season than any player in PGA Tour history, new sponsors AT&T have honoured him in an unusual way by building a giant mosaic of the star in his home town.
Based in a local park in Dallas, 25 people took more than two days to put over 24,000 golf balls and tees in position, with the image showing Spieth in a cap and appearing to look like he's analysing his swing.
The mosaic is open for the public to see for a couple of days before being deconstructed, with the balls then being donated to a local golf organisation and the Northern Texas PGA.
