Danny Willett has explained how becoming a father and a Masters champion in a whirlwind 12-day period have given him a new outlook on life, while he also looked forward to some huge career challenges ahead.
Sky Sports News HQ reporter Jamie Weir caught up with Willett at Wentworth last week, where the Sheffield star reflected on a golden year both in his personal and professional life.
Willett had insisted at the start of the year that he would not make the trip to Augusta National if his wife Nicole had not given birth to their first child, which was due during Masters week.
But Zachariah James Willett arrived early on March 30, and his father took his place in the field for the season's first major and ended a memorable final round being fitted for a Green Jacket.
Willett is excited by the prospect of being able to change in the iconic champions' locker room at Augusta every year, where his jacket will remain when he hands it back next April.
In the shorter term, Willett also explains why he will be a proud member of Team GB alongside Justin Rose as golf returns to the Olympic Games next month.
And after that, he will prepare to make his Ryder Cup debut at Hazeltine, where he will be determined to play his part in a fourth straight victory for Europe.
