Goalkeeping legend Peter Schmeichel knows what it is like to win at the highest level and, as a big golf fan, is hoping to see Europe extend their winning Ryder Cup record.
Schmeichel is one of the most successful goalkeepers in Premier League history, having won five titles with Manchester United after moving to Old Trafford from Brondby in 1991.
Since retiring from Football in 2003, Schemeichel has spent more time on the golf course and is regularly seen appearing in Pro-Am competitions ahead of European Tour events.
Schmeichel is a big fan of the Ryder Cup and is relishing the football-like atmosphere at Hazeltine, which he feels make the biannual event "like no other".
The 52-year-old has tasted European glory for both club and country during an illustrious, with the Dane now hoping the continent's golfers can achieve similar glory.
Peter Schmeichel is supporting Team Europe at Hazeltine next week, and he is urging you to pledge your support for Darren Clarke's side.
