Alex Levy close to hole in one at British Masters

Alex Levy gave a further demonstration of his par-three skills as he came within a whisker of celebrating a hole in one on the opening day of the British Masters.
Levy is already a winner this week having landed the £10,000 first prize at Tuesday night's inaugural Hero Challenge, beating seven other leading European Tour stars in an entertaining knockout contest on a specially-constructed par-three at The Grove.
The Frenchman was finding the going a little tough in the breezy afternoon conditions on day one of the tournament proper and was one over for his round when he arrived at the 175-yard 13th.
But he made a move in the right direction when he flushed his tee-shot, and his ball pitched just short of the pin and almost hopped straight into the cup after the second bounce.
