Cabrera Bello, looking for his first win since 2012, fired a five-under 65 in Fanling to extend his advantage over the nearest challenger Sam Brazel.

A final-hole birdie lifted Willett to within five strokes of the lead, while defending champion Justin Rose sits 10 shots off the pace.

Holding a one-shot overnight lead after a bogey-free 64, Cabrera Bello briefly lost his overnight advantage when Brazel followed a birdie at the 12th with an eagle-three at the next.

The Spaniard posted back-to-back gains from the second and moved two strokes clear when Brazel dropped a shot at the 15th, before bouncing back from a first blemish of the week at the fifth to card successive birdies from the eighth.

Another birdie from close range at the 15th took Cabrera Bello three clear when Brazel bogeyed the ninth to complete a second successive 66, with Willett one of four players tied for third.
